塚本功（つかもといさお）

ネタンダーズ ギタリスト&ボーカリスト。90年代初頭にピアニカ前田率いるピラニアンズでデビュー。

以降小島麻由美、スライマングース、スチャダラパー率いるThe HELLO WORKS、ASA-Chang&ブルーハッツ等の専属ギタリストを務めつつ、数々のセッションやレコーディングに参加。

デビュー当初から、唯一の所有ギターギブソンES175Tをアンプに直結スタイルを貫き続け今に至る。

昨今はソロライブも平行して展開中。ギター1本とは思えぬ迫力ある演奏が、全国各地での熱い支持を獲得している。

Japanese guitarist
Currently active solo, in bands, and as a singer/songwriter
Using a Gibson ES175T, the only guitar he's ever owned for the last 25 years, plugged directly into an amp, he touches the strings directly and draws out a primitive sound which is at times delicate and at times dynamic. He is a connoisseur of numerous styles of music, and those who hear his sound once become a slave to his one-of-a-kind tone.

Either with a band or solo, he delivers over one hundred public performances every year.

He collaborates with and supports various musicians in Japan as well.
Additionally, he does music for commercials and, in 2016, in the animated film ONE PIECE FILM GOLD he participated with a guitar performance.

As for overseas musicians, he performed alongside Allen Toussaint on a Japanese television program in 2006, and he performed at an event commemorating Hirth Martinez's visit to Japan.

In 2016, Adam Levy (guitarist for Norah Jones and the Handsome Band and Tracy Chapman) saw a music video of Tsukamoto's and liked his sound. When Levy visited Japan, he attended one of Tsukamoto's live performances, and the two have kept in touch since then. According to Levy,

"Americans should hear the sound of Tsukamoto's guitar." He highly praises Isao Tsukamoto's playing.

Going forth, Tsukamoto plans to visit each country, keeping overseas activity in his line of sight.
